Hiawatha Valley Mental Health Center, along with Winona State and Winona ORC, held an open house on Friday, May 15^th at the PSA building to celebrate the opening of a new Peer Support Center. This center is place for fellowship and support from people who know all to well the struggles of mental illness. It includes a lounge area, a game area with a pool table and Wii game station, a kitchen area, and an exercise room. Open hours are Monday, Wednesday, Friday 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. There is no charge to visit the center. The center is located on 122 West Second Street in Winona.
