Thank you to the 93 people that attended our Open House on Friday, November 13th! 

 

 

09/21/09: Winona ORC would like to welcome and introduce our new Executive Director, Judie Foster-Lupkin.  Judie came to us after working 6 years for Emmaus Homes in St Charles, Missouri where she was Vice President of Finance and Human Resources. Emmaus is a nonprofit residential facility for adults with disabilities.  Judie, in addition to her MBA, has over 30 years of business experience in both profit and nonprofit operations. 

 

Judie and her husband, Ed Lupkin, have relocated to the Winona area saying, “We absolutely love the area. The people we have met have been so helpful and we are delighted to be here.”  They moved to Missouri from Oregon where Judie was born and raised.  Together they have five children and two grandchildren, a son and two grandchildren in Minnesota, two sons on the West Coast -- Oregon and Washington, a daughter in New York, and a daughter currently serving in Afghanistan. Together with their animals, they look forward to calling Winona home.

 

About working at Winona ORC Judie expresses, “I am thrilled and grateful for the opportunity to continue working with adults with disabilities. The lessons I have learned over the years from both clients and staff in nonprofit programs is a humbling experience.  There are times I feel they teach me more than I can teach them – the people and their spirit touch your heart.  I look forward to using my experience to strengthen the organization. WORC is an asset to have in the community.”
