12/14/2009: Winona ORC would like you to welcome Rick Craft as the Director of Community Employment. Rick will manage our community based operations including 30 different sites (customers) and the Job Coaches. He will also manage our Safety and Transportation Services. Rick has an MBA and is an Adjunct Instructor and Industry Consultant at Western Technical College in business and safety classes. Rick brings a wealth of knowledge in both OSHA and DOT regulations. He recently relocated to Winona in July from his hometown of Bakersfield, California. While still getting used to the weather, Rick loves the snow, "but not necessarily the ice." Prior to relocating, Rick's experience included working as a Health, Safety and Environment Coordinator in the industrial construction industry for three years and serving as the Director of Health and Safety Preparedness for the American Red Cross for six years. He enjoys fishing, woodworking, shooting and attending his church, Living Light. Rick was recently engaged to Jana, his high-school sweetheart, in November during their trip home for Thanksgiving. Together, they have four children - Devin (15), Clayton (12), Emily (6) and Maddy (4). A former member of the U.S. Air Force, Rick was previously stationed in Italy, which allowed him to explore many countries in Europe. He has traveled all over the country, but now says being home with his family is his favorite place.
