Winona ORC would like to honor these employees who have passed in the last year.
Bob Kuhlmann
Bob passed away on January 5th, 2009.
He was employed at Winona ORC from 3/23/2005 to 11/26/2007 as a Job Coach. Bob was very much loved by clients and coworkers. He always had a way to find humor in anything. He was fun to work with and will be deeply missed. Last year WORC set up a “Kuhlman Day” to show how much we respect him and miss him at WORC. The day was centered on Bob with clients and staff eating cake and wearing our “Shades.” See the picture to the right.
Staff Remember Bob:
“Bob was an amazing person. He was a good friend and a perfect job coach. I never have seen a person have such an impact on people. Bob had the ability to make people laugh and smile. Once Bob walked into a room, no matter what the mood was, everyone in the room would always be cheerful and smiling once he walked out. Bob was great for WORC and he will be greatly missed.” –Jesse Thill
“It is hard to describe in words the Man, Friend, and Teacher that Bob Kuhlmann was. Bob was someone who loved life, had few regrets and always said every experience in life was a lesson learned. I was blessed to have a friend like Bob in my life. He would always know what to say in every situation; he had an incredible sense of what others were feeling and how to comfort them at that moment. Now when I look back on all of the memories I have had with Bob it brings a smile to my face and reminds me of all the laughter and good times we shared. Bob touched the lives of many people and will never be forgotten.” –JoAnna Gribbons
Kenneth Rostad

Ken was an employee for Winona ORC since January of 2000. He worked production, community sites, and he was a bus driver. Kenny was a loving, kind and caring person, who always made sure others were taken care of before himself. He will be sadly and deeply missed by all who knew him.
